Hello!<\/p>\n

I had a lovely surprise this week when I found out that I had won some beautiful ribbons from Crafty Ribbons<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The competition was held last\u00a0week and was to win seven bags of coloured ribbons, all with the theme of jam pots. Each bag held enough metre lengths of coloured ribbons to fill a jam pot and each bag was colour-themed ie: a bag of pinks, a bag of reds, a bag of purples etc. etc.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the prize\u00a0\u00a0arrived mid-week and I was amazed to see seven\u00a0plastic\u00a0bags, absoloutely stuffed full of beautiful themed ribbons.<\/p>\n

Seven wonderfully colourful bags of gorgeous ribbons!<\/p><\/div>\n

There were gingham ribbons, organza, looped edge, polka-dot, satin, narrow, medium and wider, stripy, fancy, glittery and even gross-grain.\u00a0The colour schemes\u00a0of each bag were: orange\/yellows, reds, blues, pinks, purples, greens and peach\/creams.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So I thought it would be a good idea to photograph the ribbons in jam pots so that I could show a friend<\/p>\n

Well, just as I had finished photographing the ribbons in the jars, the phone rang and I had to leave the room. I was gone some time (you know how it is when you get chatting!).<\/p>\n

The dolls are busy playing dress-up with the new ribbons!<\/p><\/div>\n

When I came back in, just look what I found! Absolute \u00a0mayhem!!!<\/p>\n

The ballerina doll has made herself a make-shift tutu with some of the pink ribbons and is busy twirling around with them.\u00a0Whilst her friend next to her has decorated her own pink\u00a0corset and made a most unusual hat with some of the purple ribbon. She is also busy pinning another of her creations in green\u00a0to Mei Lin’s head whilst tiny Ann has actually climbed right into the pot of peach and cream ribbons!<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, pretty blonde Emily is helping young Marley select some lengths from the blue and orange pots. Heaven knows how Little Miss Pink Hair will ever disentangle herself from all those lovely red ribbons she is playing with!<\/p>\n

Of course, as soon as I came back into the room, there was not one movement from any of them……..but they had all been caught red-handed on camera, hadn’t they?!!<\/p>\n

Well, as I said to my long-suffering husband, this is the type of thing that can happen when you live in a house full of dolls.<\/p>\n
